Overview
The NPS Network Power Switch is a network grade power distribution unit that also enables remote manage power switching and reboot functions, and tracks conditions and events in distant data centers and branch offices. Out-of-Band power control features allow your NOC to remotely reboot unresponsive network elements and power off unused outlets and devices from anywhere; even during network outages.
The NPS’s adaptable monitoring and alarm functions allow a more proactive approach to branch office management; enabling admins to detect potential signs of trouble at remote sites and implement preventative measures long before disaster strikes. Network Admins can also employ the NPS’s DevOps automation support capabilities to automate reboot and power down operations when unresponsive devices, high rack temperatures, power issues and other indications of developing problems are detected.
